There are many big businesses that are out there today. Wrigley is the biggest gum factory, and Sprint is the biggest cellphone company. Right now, everybody thinks that Verizon has over-come all of the cell phone services, but the truth is, Sprint is. Many people are joining Sprint because they are ahead of everybody by years, and unlike Verizon, Sprint doesn't try to eliminate their competition. They are- but not in the brutal- eliminating competition by getting ahead of companies. Verizon Wireless eliminated AT&T by getting the iPhone as soon as the contract ends, and the only way that AT&T will eliminate competition, is if they drop their service costs. That is why Sprint is the leading company. Their monthly charges are much cheaper for business people, which business or people who are just trying to keep a budget. This is an example of Modern Competition.
