Nome, we don't have a modern "Gilded Age" in society. In school, there is a Gilded Age; when a teacher just doesn't make any sense, the next day they say something's due and they say the students did the assignment wrong, there is a sense of confusion. I would consider this a "Gilded Age" moment, because the students didn't know that they had to do the certain part of the assignment wrong. Otherwise in society, I don't really think that there is a "Gilded Age" point in society. The government failed to please the people of the nation.
Yes'm, there is progressivism in modern society, big time. Like I learned in social studies, government is a work in progress. In order to realize what we can do to make the government a better place, they have to have feedback from people that aren't in the government, the citizens of the nation. This is a small form of progressivism, but not a disagreeing progressivism, it just improves the government in the time of need. In a way, there is a modern "Progressivism".
How are National Parks used today?
They are historical property usually or a very nice nature reserve. In Glacier National Park, people went skiing and they went hiking in these parks. This park is to preserve the winter wildlife such as the grizzly bears and the Mountain Goat. This woodland was one of the biggest in the country of Canada, and now is starting to melt. Apparently, one boy was playing in Glacier National Park and when he was sprinting, he slipped and fell into a glacier. They couldn't get him out, and eventually, he froze and died.
